I know that you're out there. My blog stats tell me that you're reading. The only problem is that I don't know who you are.
And I'd really like to.
I'm humbled that the explanations of my often-mundane daily
existence have become popular enough to warrant your time and readership. I don't take this for granted. That's why I'm inviting you to introduce yourself by leaving a comment here. Drop me a line. Would you tell me who you are and where you're from? It'll be nice to meet you.
Of course, if you accidentally stumbled here because you inhaled dryer lint and conducted a Google search to learn about the side effects of such an action, you can tell me that, too. It's been known to happen.
Either way, your comment will let me know that you visited, and that, my friends, will make my day.
Hi Robin,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Christine and I am reading your blog here in Canada. I have a 2.5 yr old little girl and a fiancee.
I really enjoy your blog and I am so excited every time i see that there is a new post!
Keep up the awesome work!
Hello..
ReplyDeleteI've stumbled across your blog through some other blogs I read - not sure which one though. My husband and I live in Canada with our puppy and a bunch of fish. We're hoping to get pregnant this year.
Oh and I'm subscribed to your blog through Google Reader.
Nice to meet you!

Hello. I followed your orders and here I am! :)
ReplyDeleteMy name is Sarah. I found your blog from another blog I read. However, I don't remember which one, (as this is the story with a lot of the blogs I read). I love it though. You are just real and down to earth and that is what I enjoy reading. :) Thanks for the entertainment.
Oh, and lovely to meet you too! :)
-Sarah http://littlemiss-sunshinelife.blogspot.com/
Ok, so I followed instructions like the good girl I am and came to see you here. You know I'm from the States, North Carolina specifically. I have no idea how I found you, maybe 'My Evil Three Year-Old'? (I miss her, by the way.) I read your blog. No other way for me to do it since I still own a flip phone.
ReplyDeleteI love your humor, writing style, subject matter and the fact that you love the Lord.
Hi I am Ginger AKA Mrs. A I found you through the top mommy blogs website I am a first time mom to a 10.5 month old and I love reading blogs of moms with kids older than mine so I can sorta see what's coming. Nice to meet you. I am from good ole Oklahoma and my blog is Adventures In The Life of Mrs.A.
ReplyDeleteHi I'm Danielle reading your blog from Oklahoma! I came across your blog through the top mommy blogs website. My blog is masynandsydney.blogspot.com. Come visit sometime!
ReplyDeleteHi My name is Kristi from Maine. I have one daughter she is three. I found you through top mommy blogs and your blog is the first blog I read everyday. You post frequently so I usually find a new post but thats not really why I read yours first. Your posts radiate love and calmness even when describing crazy days. I want to always remember that my daughter is a gift and not a trial and you keep me in that frame of mind. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI'm in Virginia, and you know me, sort of. I found your blog b/c my BFF e-mailed me a link to Top Mommy Blogs. I think yours is the only blog I started following after my visit, there. I read your actual blog. I'm not into apps. I don't even have a cell phone, at the moment. I need to send it off for replacement, but I hate it, so I'm pretty much unmotivated.
ReplyDeleteGood morning!
ReplyDeleteI am originally from Austria and now happily living in, well, Happy Valley. I am lucky to have met you in person - your unique personality shines through in your blog.
Hug,
Ines
Hola! I'm Kathy from Fort Lauderdale.
ReplyDeleteLike most everyone else, I stumbled on your blog by reading other blogs and am a fan of many Top Mommy Blogs. And of course, I write an occasional blog myself. I have 2 toddlers, and work from home, so I can relate.

Hi! I am a new mom of Emilee 14 months (today!) I stumbled onto your blog while reading other mom blogs. I read you on my tablet and have you bookmarked so I am sure to catch up on your posts every few days. I am in Massachusetts. You have inspired me to start my own little blog hahamama.blogspot.com about my family and the little things that catch my heart :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for this.
Hi! I'm Lisa from North Carolina. I have been reading your blog for about a year now and I originally found you through the internet somehow (other blogs, Top Mommy blogs - can't remember exactly.) I love your insight and writing style. I feel we are somewhat kindred spirits because I also have three daughters, have battled psoriasis, and certainly appreciate structure and organization. You have left a few comments on my blog, too, which I appreciate tremendously!
ReplyDeleteHi!I am Michelle from Quincy, MA and mother to an alomst 16 y/o girl and 11 y/o boy. I teach preschool for 4's and love my job. I get to enjoy through my class what I miss from raising my kiddos. Your blog reminds me to slow down and enjoy where I am and where my kids are at. I love the gentle mentions of how much God loves us and that he is our heavenly parent just like we are parents. I found you on a search for mom blogs and love following on FaceBook.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
Hello Robin, My name is Michelle and I follow you on facebook. But I found your blog while searching for other mommy blogs on the internet. I have continued to read yours because while it deals with the frustrations, hardships and aggravations of parenting you always look to the Lord and try to get the best you can out of it. No matter what it is.It helps me deal with the loneliness of being a stay at home mom. I have a two year old son and am married to my high school sweetheart of ten years ago. We would love to have three more kids but it took us six years to conceive the first time around, and then Isaac was born ten weeks early. So we'll see what happens. Peace be with you
ReplyDeleteHi Robin, this is Emily from Dallas. I am have 14 mo. old boy/girl twins, and I only visit two blogs on a regular basis - yours is one of them. I appreciate the way you capture the truly special, amazing, heartbreaking, funny, and mundane moments of motherhood. You help me cut through all of the noise and chaos of twins to see the real jewels. I appreciate your words and your wisdom. Thank you for taking the time to write, and for your well-worded observations. I am learning from you.
ReplyDeleteHi! What a neat forum you have going on! I'm Kendra, a so cal girl transplanted in Virginia while my husband attends grad school. I have a beautiful baby girl who I still can't believe is turning one later on this month. I'm so glad to have found your blog! I look forward to reading more.
ReplyDeleteI'm Francie, in Greensboro, NC, wife of David and Mom to Claire (3) and Norah (16 months). I found your blog when a friend posted a link to one of your posts on Facebook...it was the one about why you will never let your daughters hear you demean your own physical appearance, and I was hooked! I follow you on Blogger Dashboard and appreciate your honest, humorous perspective.
ReplyDeleteHello Robin, Starr here from Texas. I have always admired you, like a big sister. I wasn't arm twisted to read your blog, encouraged to do solely of admiration through Facebook. I miss you tremendously. You are a great leader of the Lord, your blog reminds me that I should strive to be a good mother and Christian. I enjoy your sense of humor, and am comforted that I am not the only mommy with wild and lovingly kids whom struggles with my many different hats. *Hugs*
ReplyDeleteBtw, I downloaded your app since I got a new iPad

-Geoff (CCC)
So. I'm Ami and I discovered you because somehow you discovered me. Then you kept saying nice things to me on my blog, which still bogles my mind but in a really awesome way. After I read your post about "Slumping," and I knew right then that you were a great writer who has subtlety and charm by the bucket-full.
ReplyDeleteI live in Indianapolis with one husband, two cats, and three children named Will, Trinity, and Eden.
Hi Robin!
ReplyDeleteIt's Jacqueline(Jackie) H., from Central Pennsylvania, I enjoy reading your blog(online), it's something I do everyday. I love your little girls and I'm glad to be apart of their lives. You told my mom about your blog, that's how I found it :)

My name is Christy - I'm in Texas and getting back into blogging. This is my first venture doing it "publicly" and not just a private blog read by friends. I'm enjoying reading other mom blogs and I look forward to meeting more on your site and others. I found yours on Circle of Mom's Top 25, I think... lol. I have enjoyed reading your blog as well as following some of those on your blogroll. Have a great Friday!

ReplyDeleteHi friend,
ReplyDeleteI'm Jodi - a working mother of two (Alex is nearly 8 and Avery is nearly 4) with a fantastic husband and a life I know that I'm blessed to have. I live in a tiny town in Northern NJ just about a 15 min drive to Manhattan. My job in marketing has me spending my days seeking out just what makes people tick. I think this is how I came to your blog (I read it on Flipboard). You are a part of my inspiration to create product innovations to make people's lives better! :)
Hi, my name is Trista. I live in a small town of 3500 people in Northern California. I am 28 and I have 1 8 yr. old daughter and am currently 5 months pregnant with another girl. I just stumbled upon your blog in search of an interesting blogger who I can follow and get to know. I read all your new year entries and decided this blog is the one. Though I may not relate to everything you have to say, the way you write is entertaining and I could sit and read your entries for hours. Thanks for being a blogger! <3
ReplyDeleteJulie (Szmyd) Morahan, SPHS Class of 96 :-) I now live west of Denver, CO. I love reading your blog and hearing your insights and stories about raising 3 children. Having only one who is almost 9 months, I cannot fathom keeping up with THREE!
ReplyDeleteHi! I am Courtney from Greensboro, NC. I am a mom of 2 very cool kids- Annabelle is 8 and Russ is 2. I have been reading your blog for a while and i find myself nodding as I read it... that's when you know it's a good blog (well that's how I judge a good blog)! So consider yourself bookmarked.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your honest writing.
I admittedly read your blog because my dryer produces only blue lint and i am intrigued by households that have pink dryer lint. I love to read your blog!
ReplyDeleteHi I'm Fatima ( recently started blogging ) and I'm reading your blog all the way from Abu Dhabi. Your blog is amazing and the name caught my attention and I immediately imagined my dryer as I have three daughters myself aged 7, 5 and 11 months
ReplyDeleteHi Robin! Becky here: mom of Grace (5) and Parker (2), living in Centre County. I am fairly behind on technology so I "think" I just clicked "like" on your facebook page, so now we are fb friends? I hope so. It was great to hear you share about priorities at Zion Mops the other night, and I am eager to read more of your posts on motherhood, faith, and even the silly things. I have been pondering one statement you made that is really meaningful to me: "In life, you ARE going to disappoint people...just make sure it's the right people"....And the scripture: "In Him we live and move and have our being. He IS what holds the contents of our box together! Keep up the good work :)
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm Jacklynn. I am a stay at home mom to our (almost) 8 month old daughter. I found your blog from the top mommy blogs site. I recently started on my own blogging adventure and am loving reading other blogs. I haven't looked around too much yet but I'm loving it so far :)
ReplyDeleteHi! My name is Shauna. I am a mostly stay at home mom who works every weekend as an RN in an emergency dept. I have a husband and a 6 month old son who is chunky, happy, and seems to have something against sleeping. I recently started reading blogs as a way to connect with other moms, gain some practical mom wisdom, and realize others struggle with the same things I do. Its so convenient as it doesnt involve having to shower and pack the baby up to get out:) I love your blog so far, keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteHi Robin...visiting your blog from Boston. I discovered you a few months ago on Top Mommy Blogs and have enjoyed all of your posts...especially the "In 100 words or less"
ReplyDeleteI'm a full time working Mum with a husband I adore, an almost 3 year old little girl whos has brought more ligta nd love into our lives than we ever could have imagined and my very own blog! Thanks for sharing your wit, charm, humor and insight...it is all greatly appreciated
Hey There Robin,
ReplyDeleteLove reading your blog, I can relate in so many ways, being the mother of three. You make me laugh and I can't help but bond with you, in you story telling. As a PA mother of two girls, life can be full of dramatic tears or infectious giggling. Keep on blogging!

Hi! I'm Amy (as you of course can read above - but it doesn't seem right to go on without that intro). I am from Kingman, Az. Stay at home mum of two girls. I am looking for good mom blogs to inspire me, as I have aspirations of starting my own blog. Not finding too much out there, but I am also a Christian, and was excited to find this one that I can relate to on more than one front. I'm following now and I'm sure I'll leave more comments in the future. Now I'm on my way to see if you have a "button" I can post on my future maybe blog. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi! I saw your comment on my blog about my upcoming book and wanted to come say hi. I am very flattered that you found my site! I've been reading your blog since I first started writing mine, which seems like a very long time ago. I didn't know you had an app...how clever! I'm going to have to check that out now! Congrats on all the downloads!
ReplyDeleteMommy With Selective Memory
Hi! I found your blog on the Top Mommy Blogs directory. I just started blogging myself (www.holdingthedistaff.blogspot.com) and have been trying to network and find some other blogs I like. I really enjoy what I've seen so far from you. You seem to think a lot like I do. Anyway, I'm really inspired you're writing a book now! I'd love to be able to imitate you! Looking forward to following your posts -Gina
ReplyDeleteMy name is Samantha, from Saskatchewan, Canada. I just started blogging myself and finding blogs on Top Mommy Blogs, which is how I stumbled across yours. I love the style of your writing, and I'm looking forward to following your blog!
ReplyDeleteHi, my name is Sara and I'm from Iowa. I am a contributing blogger to a local mom's blog, but have started to search other mommy blogs as I plan to head out on my own and do my own blog. I really love your writing, and can relate to a lot of your opinions. I am a mom to 2 boys, ages 3 1/2 and almost 2, and I am expecting my third in August. I am also a college professor, part time. It's such a busy life, and it's nice to have something positive to read, like your blog!
ReplyDeleteYep, coming from Idaho Falls, Idaho. Not as exotic as some of your other readers, but here I am. Love your stuff, and no, I didn't find you on Google because I inhaled dryer lint. LOL.
ReplyDeleteIts a pleasure to say hi. In fact, I'd love to live close enough to come by for a coffee and get to know you more, as i feel sure we'd have a lot in common. I'm Siobhan, I live in St Albans, England, that's a short train ride north of London. I have 2 kids (would've loved one more but my stamina and my husband's situation didn't allow) both now a mature 7 almost 8 and 5, girl and boy.
ReplyDeleteI don't work (at least, not paid) as i've chosen to stay at home and look after the kids, and my career didn't really allow, being one in the international development sector. But i've recently started a blog, after FAR TOO LONG considering it, about parenting and the perils of comparison (www.everyoneelseisnormal.com) If you have a mo, check it out. Its only very early days, so please excuse the missed entries under Great Finds, but i had to get on and start it.
Keep up your wonderful blog, weaving the truth and grace of God so naturally into your writing. I love that.
Hi!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Julz and your blog is great! I live in NJ no place exotic bt hey we have some real house wives one town over! (It's actually sad because most of them give us mom's a really bad name most of us are NOTHING like that!)
I am a SAHM of 3 boys two who have special needs and have recently started a mommy blog myself. No I am not going to post the link I am totally not here to poch your readers but if your ever interested in reading it please let me know.
I admire you and your blog and hope that one day mine will be as amazing as yours :)
Hi there.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog indirectly off of another. I think you have a way with words and I am enjoying how you handle situations and how much you clearly love your family. I also blog, but not nearly as often. I am a working mom from NJ, USA. I try to fit in a little blogging of my own because it's cheaper than therapy. People think I'm kidding, but I do find it is a way to release anxiety and stress. Working two jobs and raising two children, two cats, two fish, and a husband is hard work and I don't always do it correctly, but I deal with the anxieties of motherhood through writing it all down. I also love to read about how other moms, such as yourself handle things.
Thanks for sharing the way you do.
Hi Robin, I'm Amber, I am from a small farming community in western Illinois. I enjoy reading your blog, I can relate to a lot of what you talk about having 3 children of my own, my zoo doesn't stop there. Over the years and months I have gained a 30lb cat, some fish (short lived in this house, fish don't eat feathers well) 2, count 'em 2 hamsters (still unsure on how I got these critters) and our newest addition was an Australian Shepherd named Moose. Needless to say there is NEVER a dull moment in this house, ooops gotta go a kid is stuck in the puppy jail,
ReplyDeleteJust stumbled across you blog and love it! Love your candid writing! You now have a new follower.

Hi, I'm Missi...I've been reading your blog forever, I think. Either forever, or as long as Bethany Eicholtz has been posting links to it on her facebook. I live in a little town west of you, called Sykesville. I'm sure you've heard of it! I can see Joel's Uncle Jim's house from my driveway, if I twist my neck just a little to the left. I've enjoyed getting to "know" you through your writing and am anxiously awaiting the release of your book. I bumped into your in-laws a few months back while they were having lunch in town and when Marsha spoke of you, she did so with such admiration...which is something for you to be proud of...a woman who speaks highly of her son's wife, is a rarity is seems!! Your blog makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteHi! I am a new member of Top Mommy Blogs and found your site. I love it. I am a mom to five (4 boys and a girl), living in South Florida, just trying to balance the everyday tasks of motherhood and life.

ReplyDeleteHello Robin,
ReplyDeleteI'm a new reader- found your blog through topmommyblogs. I wish I had your nack for organization (desperately, desperately wish). I'm currently imagining my house clean as I am too exhausted after caring for my two little girls all day (all three of us sick). So, in my mind, I can pretend to be so organized! Right? Thanks for writing!

Hi Robin!
ReplyDeleteI caught wind of your blog through the State College MOPS group as we had our planning session for the year last month. I hear you'll be attending one of our Mom's Night Out next month, so I hope to be able to make it that night!
I am also a mom of 3 girls and started my own blog this year, so it's fun to read someone else's adventures who's in the same boat as I am!

ReplyDeleteHello- just stumbled into your blog through Pinterest! I've continued reading because you made me laugh. I have a 2 year old boy who woke up screaming and crying "NO MOMMY!" at me this morning. He ran into our living room continuing the same...each time he looked up and saw me- more crying and screaming. I hid; why not. Then he cried FOR me. Quite an exciting start to my day at 5am.

Enjoy this blog! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi! My name is Pat and I'm from Connecticut. I was looking for successful blogs and found yours. Impressive!
ReplyDeleteI'm somewhat new to blogging and was looking for family story ideas. I'm a mom and grandma, but my blog is focused on my life growing up with eight siblings. Every who follows it likes it, but I'm feeling a bit done on this subject.
You've inspired me and shown me it's OK to have several segments in a blog. I'll keep reading - Thanks!
Hey! my name is Brittany and Im from ND!
ReplyDeleteHi,I found you through Live with Flair and am thoroughly enjoying getting a giggle from your blog! Carinna from Ca.
ReplyDeleteHi Robin,
ReplyDeleteI found your blog just by doing a basic search, and I related more to your summary blurb over the 10 or so others I read.
I'm Jodi, from a little south of Boston, MA. Married with two girls, ages 3 and 7.
I've once or twice tried blogging. I still have an active blog, and I'd really love to get back into it, and though I'd love to blame lack of time, I think I just need the inspiration.
Looking forward to reading more..
Hi robin,
ReplyDeleteI found you through google search trying to find new blogs to read. Love yours. I am a mother of two, and soon will be opening my own shop on etsy selling baby-adult sized headbands and accessories.

Hi there - my name is Michelle, I have a 9 month old daughter and I love your blog. I am a new mom blogger and you can find some of my personal reflections here:(www.surprisemama.com). I look forward to continuing to follow your blog and watch your beautiful children grow. Thank you so much for helping me understand what a great blog is all about!
ReplyDeleteHello! We are the owners of Gallery 55 in Natick, MA; Anet James and John Mottern. We discovered the cover of a beautiful children's book; "Rhoda’s Ocean" when we went to look at her husband’s artwork – but uncovering the remaining pages turned out to be an adventure. Once we found them, we knew we had found a true treasure… and now we want to share that treasure with you!
ReplyDeleteRhoda’s Ocean, reminiscent of Peter Rabbit, tells the story of a young bunny who dreams of the sea. This book was lost in the house for 20 years and was never published. This book is getting a lot of attention (it's amazing). It is carried now by 40 independent bookstores as well as Barnes and Noble who JUST decided to sell it! The Boston Globe did a front page article about the discovery of this unusual children's book and also created a video about it. The Christian Science Moniter also had an article about this book as well as the MetroWest Daily News. Go to www.rhodasocean.com to see the entire book and the articles and video.
Author and illustrator Betty Abbott Sheinis, a woman ahead of her time, grew up in the Great Smoky Mountains of rural Tennessee whom moved to NYC by herself when she was 19 to go to Cooper Union and went on to become an award-winning illustrator for The Washington Post. Throughout her career, Betty also created a great many watercolors, one of which was included in a 1958 exhibit at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. Rhoda's Ocean was discovered shortly before her death in 2012 at her home in Massachusetts. Thank you for your consideration!
This book is gaining lots of attention quickly and we know that mom's are always looking for new books. Best, Anet
